It’s National Dental Hygiene Month—help us recognize Renita!
The American Dental Hygienists’ Association has recognized October as National Dental Hygiene Month. And what better way to celebrate than highlight one of our dental hygienists. Let us take this opportunity to recognize Renita.

It’s National Dental Hygiene Month!
Born and raised in Livingston, New Jersey
Renita, born and raised in Livingston, New Jersey, moved to the Bedminster area in 1993 after the birth of her son. Renita’s been married for twenty-six years and has a son, John, who’s 22 and a daughter, Christie, 19. She says her family, faith, and values are the most important parts of her life. When she isn’t helping to care for patients, she enjoys cooking and running, and loves to go on vacations with her husband and kids.
Being a hygienist runs in the family
For Renita, being a dental hygienist has a family connection. She entered the profession because her sister was a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). Renita’s sister helped her to get a job at her dental office in high school, and Renita found that she really liked the dental atmosphere. From there, it seemed like the best move to go into the field for herself.
Caring For Family is What It’s Like for Renita – One of Our Dental Hygienists
Renita enjoys a special bond with her patients
When asked what she likes best about her job, Renita points out that she loves working for Dr. Mavrostomos because the staff is like a big family to her. Some of her patients have been coming to see her for sixteen years so she really appreciates the special bond she forms over time with them. Renita’s patients truly appreciate her kindness and gentle touch when it comes to taking care of their teeth and gums.
Renita is definitely right when it comes to the atmosphere at Bedminster Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. We are family, and as such, we like to praise our family members. That’s why we’re proud to showcase our very caring Renita for all she does for our family and yours.
