I recently got my teeth straightened and I am very happy with their alignment. I was wanting to get rid of the yellow staining on my teeth, but teeth whitening didn’t work. Would Lumineers mess up my alignment?

Carlton,
Did you use an over-the-counter teeth whitening agent? If so, that might explain your disappointment. Professional teeth whitening is generally very effective on tooth stains, especially yellowing.
While they wouldn’t mess up your alignment, I wouldn’t recommend Lumineers in your case. They’re more expensive than whitening. Plus your teeth would be about 2mm longer than normal. Sometimes, when they are put on with a no-prep technique they can look a little bulky. I generally only recommend any type of porcelain veneers for whitening if you’re also unhappy with the shape of your teeth. Otherwise, I would just go to a dentist who does professional whitening.
