I’m wondering if you can advise me. My five year old keeps getting cavities. I brush her teeth twice a day. What could be happening?

It would be hard to tell without an examination and a fuller history. That being said, my suspicion is that your child snacks a lot. When someone snacks often it doesn’t give the enzymes and minerals in her saliva time to work.
Here is my suggestion. Cut back on her snacking. Also make sure she drinks extra water. Not only will it help fill her up, but it will help deal with any acids from food she has been eating.
