My sister got a smile makeover. I think she said it was lumineers. I don’t know how to tell her, but she looks like she has horse teeth. They’re just so bulky. Before I mention anything to her, I wanted to find out if there was anything she can do about the way they look.

I’m afraid your sister was a victim of an unqualified cosmetic dentist. Many of them try to place Lumineers, because they’re heavily advertised to dentists as being easy to place. All a dentist has to do to be certified is take a simple exam.
They’re also advertised as not needing any tooth preparation because they are a couple of millimeters smaller than traditional porcelain veneers. Depending on a person’s teeth, the result can often be bulky, as you have seen with your sister’s case.
Unfortunately, the only thing she can do is have them re-done. This time she’ll need to go to a more experienced and artistic cosmetic dentist.
