I got porcelain veneers. They look OK, but the keep falling off. After having them fall over seven times, I finally had an new set made. They’ve not even been on three days and another one has fallen off. I’m so fed up! If I got a lawyer, would I have a chance of getting my money back?

The problem with these veneers is definitely the fault of your dentist, the lab, or possibly both. Before you spend even more money on legal council, I want to suggest something.
Go to a different dentist to get an expert opinion. Have him or her determine why the porcelain veneers keep falling off, which should never happen. Even if you decided to go to court, you’d need an expert to testify, so this will help prepare your case should it become necessary.
I have found, though, that most dentists care enough about the opinion of their peers, that they will give you a refund willingly, in order to protect their reputation.
When you go in for your second opinion. Don’t tell them who the first dentist is, just in case they’re pals. Just simply tell them what is happening and ask if he has some insight into why.
