I got a Lumineers smile makeover. I’m kind of happy with it. I mean, the color is great and I don’t have gaps and chips anymore, so my smile does look better. I certainly can’t say it doesn’t. The only thing that bugs me are the teeth seem a bit “thick” to me. Am I being too picky. I hesitate to bring it up if it’s just me being picky. What are your thoughts?

Flora,
I have a few thoughts. First, it’s your smile. You paid to get the smile you wanted, so it’s hard to be too picky about that.
Of course, I haven’t seen your smie, so I couldn’t give an actual opinon about your smile.
That being said, you mentioned you receieved the Lumineers brand. There are many complaints about that type of issue with lumineers. It’s especially a problem if your dentist skips any tooth preparation.
He or she may have done that because the Lumineers company promotes their veneers as being prep-free. If he’s not an experienced dentist he may have just gone with their recommendation regardless of what your smile requires.
Unfortunately, once they’re bonded on, there’s nothing that can be done about it except to have them re-done.
