I’ve had my dental crowns for quite a few years. Over the last few months they’ve begun to turn brown. I’m sure the color is wearing out. Can I use over the counter teeth whitening to make them look the way they used to?

Neither over the counter whitening or professional teeth whitening will have an effect on the color of your dental crowns. Cosmetic work isn’t affected by it. Your natural teeth will get whiter, but the crowns will remain the same brown color.
Your only option is to have them re-done. If you decide to do that, I recommend you go with all-porcelain crowns. They will give you a much more natural looking smile than there porcelain fused to metal counterparts.
