I have temporary veneers on, but my gums are severely irritated. They’ve even been bleeding. I’m supposed to go in for my permanent veneers. Is there something wrong?

Think of this as the calm before the storm. Porcelain veneers will give you a gorgeous smile. Sometimes, gum irritation is a result of the process. It is possible that your gums are unhappy with the temporaries. Or, maybe there was some irritation to your gums during the treatment.
I would make sure you tell your dentist what is going on when you go, but if he’s any good at his job he’ll notice it on his own. You will see it get better quickly after the permanent ones are installed.
