I wanted to get Lumineers, but my dentist refuses. He said it’s because they’re not as good. I looked him up and he’s not Lumineers certified. Is that why he doesn’t want to do them? I had my heart set on them.

All it takes for a dentist to become Lumineers certified is to pass a simple test. I wouldn’t put too much stock in the certification. There are many fantastic cosmetic dentists who won’t place Lumineers.
The reason for that is the the DenMat company, that owns the Lumineers brand, requires dentists to use their lab. It’s not the most artistic lab and most cosmetic dentists prefer to use the lab of their choice.
The key is to find a good cosmetic dentist. That way, no matter what brand you get, you’ll be sure to get a gorgeous smile.
