Can anything be done about a cracked veneer, or will I need a whole new one?
Sammie M. – Brooklyn, NY
It is possible to bond the two pieces of veneer back together, but the pieces had to have split cleanly. If not, then you are likely to have to have a new veneer made.
I am more concerned with why it cracked to begin with. It is pretty difficult to damage a porcelain veneer. I’d love to hear more about what happened to crack it.
I don’t want you in a situation where your dentist isn’t qualified and you spend a lot of money for a faulty result.
