If I just got Zoom Whitening, can I get porcelain veneers on a few teeth?
Meredith J.- Washington D.C.
You can get porcelain veneers after you have your teeth whitened. However, it is advisable that you wait two weeks after your whitening. That allows your new color to stablize. The oxidation process is still going for a couple of weeks after the last of the gel is applied.
Once that time period has passed you’ll be fine. You just need to be sure that you have a qualified cosmetic dentist to do your procedure.
